'I should have checked chamber but I didn't': Rust Assistant Director admitted to sheriffs that he handed prop gun to Alec Baldwin without making sure it was safe: Prosecutors say 'no one' has been ruled out of facing charges
- Dave Halls told cops he only checked three of the gun's five chambers - one contained a live round
- He admitted in his initial interview that he 'should have checked them all but didn't'
- After the shooting, he marched the gun back to the armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed and had her open it
- That's when they realized there were four dummy casings and the spent shell of the live round Baldwin fired
- Sheriffs said Wednesday that charges are 'on the table' for an array of people - including 63-year-old Baldwin
- Investigators recovered 500 rounds total including blanks, dummies and live rounds
- They didn't say how many of each type they found, but said they suspect other live bullets were fired
- There were 16 people inside the church when the shooting happened, all of whom will be interviewed
- Assistant Director Dave Halls and Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed both handled the gun before Baldwin
- The firearm used was a Pietta .45 long colt revolver and was one of three taken from the set
- Santa Fe County Sheriff Adam Mendoza said: 'There was some complacency on this set and there were safety issues'
